Crest 3D White Toothpaste Review

Crest’s New 3D White Vivid toothpaste claims to strengthen enamel, fight cavities, remove plaque and remove up to 80% of surface stains in 14 days! The radiant mint flavor is very refreshing and I find that doesn’t sting on the tongue like most mint toothpastes I’ve used in the past. I’ve been using the new Crest 3D Vivid Whitening Toothpaste for about a month now and I can tell a difference in the color of my teeth immediately after brushing. This new whitening toothpaste is absolutely fantastic for one who drinks a lot of coffee, has nicotine stains on their teeth or for one who simply wants whiter teeth. Even better news for consumers is that the whitening ingredient in Crest 3D White toothpaste is enamel safe. The Crest 3D White product label features say it’s patented micro-cleansing tooth whiteners lift and polish away surface stains and the gentle foaming action cleans hard to reach places. I really like the ingredients in this product. In fact, the only downside to Crest 3D White is that like almost all other toothpastes on the market, it contains the ingredient sodium lauryl sulfate (a surfactant, that’s been reported to irritate the skin and cause inflammation and soreness in ones mouth) , and sorbitol (Note: the sorbitol in Crest 3D White toothpaste can cause an upset stomach when ingested, so be mindful of that.). Otherwise, I highly recommend this vivid tooth whitening paste for safer, fast whitening results.

Ingredients in Crest 3D White VIVID Toothpaste VS ingredients in Colgate Total Advanced Whitening Toothpaste (Which one is the best toothpaste for a healthy white smile?)

Both fluoride toothpastes contain ingredients to remove surface stains and both contain the active ingredient Sodium fluoride which aids in fighting cavities however Colgate Total Advanced Whitening toothpaste contains an additional anti-gingivitis active ingredient (Triclosan). Deciding on which one is the best to choose should be carefully considered based on ones current dental health and immediate tooth whitening needs. Without hesitation, I can say that Crest 3D Whitening Toothpaste ingredients provide fast whitening power that is superior to Colgate’s Total Advanced Whitening Paste. However, it should be noted that gingivitis treatment and prevention is very key to maintaining a healthy mouth. Ultimately, I recommend one using Crest 3D White for a short duration and then returning to a paste that addresses gingivitis prevention, like Colgate Total Toothpaste does.
